Over 26 agencies and companies won either Awards or Commendations in a highly competitive event. The Union won in the Advertising Strategy category for Food Standards Scotland (the ‘Pink Chicken’ food safety campaign) and the Integrated Strategy category for VisitScotland’s new global campaign. Other Union clients who were winners on the night included Skyscanner, Quality Meat Scotland, Children’s Hearings Scotland, Poppyscotland, Caledonian Brewery and Worldwide Cancer Research. Union Direct won a Commendation for work on Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service.

Michael Hart, the Union’s Creative Director commented: “What struck me about this year was the breadth of work and the sheer number of entries. We are delighted that our work has consistently ranked amongst the best in our market, and it’s especially pleasing that this is the third year in a row when we’ve topped the table. Maintaining quality for our clients is always a challenge and we feel these awards help us to benchmark how we are performing. A big thanks to all our clients who are prepared to go with brave work.”
