In what may seem a society where women are respected and valued, deeply ingrained entitlement and misogynistic attitudes are still prevalent among many young men across Scotland. The number of non-physical domestic abuse cases, where heterosexual men aged 18-25 become increasingly controlling over their female partners, is on the rise. Most of our target audience were unlikely to be fully-fledged abusers. We therefore wanted to create a ‘glimpse into the future’ and put up a mirror to potential behaviours and attitudes that could turn into something far worse if unchecked.
