In a competitive pitch The Union has won the Standard Life Bank advertising account. Standard Life, the leading European life insurer, will be launching a new telephone bank, offering attractive savings rates and flexible mortgages. Jim Spowart, who is behind the successful launch of Direct Line Financial Services, has been hired to lead the new bank. The win marks a major new client for The Union, and will include all above the line marketing.
