UNION DIGITAL LAUNCH NEW WEBSITE FOR FOOTBALL AID

<< Back to the news list

Union Digital have created a new website for Football Aid, the charity which raises funds for good causes through organising charity football matches across the UK, Europe and USA.

Football Aid has been helping good causes for over 18 years now, through the innovative and creative concept of facilitating fans to ‘live the dream’ of playing in their club colours, at their club’s stadium, coached and supported by legends from their favourite team.

The new and improved site boasts a fresh look, improved functionality, and is fully responsive for desktop and mobile browsing. In parallel, The Union also developed a brand refresh; with a new and modernised logo and visual identity. (The Union created the original identity 18 years ago.)

David Dale, CEO at Football Aid & Field of Dreams said: “We are delighted to be launching the ‘new’ Football Aid website and we hope all of our participants, partners and supporters will be delighted with the updates we have made not only to the look and feel of the site, but also the user journey as they look to secure their position(s) in our unique ‘Live The Dream’ events. We remain committed to being at the forefront of technology and would like to thank The Union for their skills and expertise in adapting and developing the bidding engine and technology platform upon which our site has been built. Our website is pivotal to our ongoing success, and we are confident this will ensure we are best placed to offer an unrivalled experience to our supporters – both online – and on the field of play. All of which is supported by our refreshed brand and visual identity, at what is a very exciting time for Football Aid.”

Andrew Baker, Digital Account Director said: “It’s been very exciting to be part of such a forward-thinking and innovative project. The complex bidding engine will provide users with an intuitive experience and the website truly captures what Football Aid is all about. The website has been built using the latest technology to support long-term sustainable growth. With the new proprietary bidding engine, users will be able to bid, buy, sponsor to play and seamlessly navigate across the website to quickly find positions and teams available.”
