The Union (Leeds) has revealed its latest ad in the campaign aiming to raise awareness of and alleviate the humanitarian crisis in Darfur. This new ad, for the Save Darfur Coalition, is another hard-hitting piece, appearing in international quality press, timed to coincide with the NATO meeting in Oslo.
The Save Darfur Coalition has been campaigning for NATO and the West to take the situation in Darfur seriously. Already over 400,000 people have died and 2 million have been forced from their homes. 4 million people need humanitarian aid, and the situation is getting no better. The Coalition is having to publicise the issue in international press as it feels world leaders are not acting quickly enough to resolve the situation.
The Union in Leeds is working on the creative origination for European media and the ads have appeared in a wide range of national newspapers and European titles. Media buying is through Brilliant Media.
