Foundation Scotland, formerly The Scottish Community Foundation, has worked with The Union on a rebrand project, including a new name and visual identity.
As well as the new identity the Foundation has also introduced a new strapline – ‘Where philanthropy meets community’ – in order to clarify the depth and breadth of the Foundation’s work.
On top of the rebranding activity The Union is also set to work with Foundation Scotland to deliver an added focus on marketing and communications this year. At the beginning of February, Union Digital is set to launch a new website for the Foundation, rolling out the new identity and marketing activity.
Speaking of the charity, Foundation Scotland chief executive Giles Ruck said: “Where philanthropy meets community is a rewarding space to work. Last year, thanks to the generosity of our clients, we funded over 2,200 projects, reaching all corners of Scotland through grassroots grant making. We are also achieving high impact in communities through major donations, investments and capital initiatives.”
Ian McAteer, The Union’s chairman, added: “Foundation Scotland is a great charity which reaches out across Scotland at all levels. There’s no doubt that the time is right to go out to key audiences and tell the Foundation Scotland story. The new identity, website and marketing drive will help to do this. The Union is delighted to be working with the charity – its role in grant making at a community level serves a clear gap in the market.”
